Picture of Jenni Carlton Jenni Carlton writes stories for children. Whether they are picture books, junior fiction or short plays, she is full of ideas that will keep her busy for a while. She is originally from the UK but has been living in Wellington, New Zealand for the past four years.

Background

She studied performing arts at college and has had a varied working life since then - from market trader to wedding dress designer! Though she enjoyed the theatrics in her youth, she has yet to explore them in a professional capacity. She finds that many of her stories possess a little of that untapped dramatic flair.
