About

Jenni Carlton writes stories for children. Whether they are picture books, junior fiction or short plays, she is full of ideas that will keep her busy for a while. She is originally from the UK but has been living in Wellington, New Zealand for the past four years.

Background

She studied performing arts at college and has had a varied working life since then - from market trader to wedding dress designer! Though she enjoyed the theatrics in her youth, she has yet to explore them in a professional capacity. She finds that many of her stories possess a little of that untapped dramatic flair.
